Award-Winning Vocalist Featured on Season Nine Premiere Episode of “The Masked Singer” on FOX

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – With one of the most recognizable voices in country music, Sara Evans instantly connected with fans with the release of her debut album Three Chords and the Truth. Each subsequent record built on that success, including the platinum-selling, ACM Nominated album Restless, which was released in Aug. of 2003. Evans will commemorate that release with "Sara Evans Still Restless – The 20 Year Celebration" that will include a special performance of the album, in its entirety, on Thursday, Aug. 17, 2023.

“I’ve never performed the full album from start to finish before, so this will be a special treat to sing these songs that I love so much on the Ryman stage, along with many of my other hits,” said Evans. “I love all of my albums and each one has a special place in my heart, but I’ve always said that Restless is my favorite,” noted Evans. “There was magic in the studio when we were making the record that brought life into these songs, some of which I wrote and some that were written by many of the best songwriters in the world.”

Restless included three Top 20 singles including “Backseat of a Greyhound Bus,” “Perfect,” which peaked at No. 2 and the smash single “Suds In The Bucket,” which almost didn’t make the 13 track album. “I’m so happy that ‘Suds in the Bucket’ ended up not only being on this project but becoming one of my biggest hits that fans continue to love and discover,” said Evans. “The head of RCA at the time didn’t think I should record ‘Suds’ but after some friendly back and forth, he gave in but said it would have to be the last song on the record - which it was. When RCA sent the album out to radio, the programmers kept coming back saying that they loved 'that suds song.' I'm thankful to radio for pushing RCA to release it as a single, and to the fans for helping make it a two-week number one!”
